Mammoth ivory is a rare natural material, between 10,000 and 30,000 years old. It was preserved in permafrost and has reached us in nearly pristine condition. Each fragment has its own unique texture and color. This pendant is handcrafted as a one-of-a-kind piece from carefully selected ivory, discovered in the north of Russia, in Siberia. The reverse side is smoothly polished, while the front features natural patina and cracks formed over millennia.
A certificate of authenticity for the mammoth ivory is also included.
